03 February, 2021. The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Dhaka hosted a seminar regarding opportunities of studying in Russia in a new academic year, including possibilities to get scholarships provided by the Government of the Russian Federation.
RCRC’ Director Maxim Dobrokhotov informed about a new registration system for applicants https://edu.rs.gov.ru/, the requirements for required documents, the specifics of their submission and the timing of candidates’ dossier consideration.
The meeting was also attended by a Soviet graduate, Dr. Taibul Hasan Khan, former Professor, Department of History, Jahangirnagar University, who spoke about his stay in the Soviet Union and the professional prospects that opened up to him as a result of his obtained education. He also talked about other alumni holding high positions in the public service, private companies and educational system.
Barek Kaiser, a graduate student of the Faculty of Journalism of RUDN University, who was invited to the event, answered numerous questions and shared his impressions of contemporary Russia, paying particular attention to the high quality of training, multiculturalism and multi-confessional structure of Russian society.
